Six-Wheeled Jeep Gladiator Is As Wild As
Road-Legal Vehicles Come
A comprehensively modified Jeep Gladiator recently popped up for sale on the used car market in Florida, and while its listing appears to have been deleted, it is still worthy of discussion.
This Gladiator is dubbed the ‘So Flo Jeeps SF 6x6G’ and looks unlike any other we’ve come across. Most notably, its bed has been extended and it now has three axles and six wheels, all of which are driven. Speaking of the wheels, they are aftermarket units wrapped in chunky mud-terrain tires.
A plethora of other changes have been made to this Gladiator. For example, the entire exterior is clad in a scratch-resistant epoxy mixed with Kevlar fiber that is 1/16 of an inch thick, the front end sports an aftermarket grille and headlights, while the windshield has a thick surround.
Modifications continue at the rear and include the elongated bed with new rails and carrying a spare wheel and tire. The ride height has also been jacked up by five inches while the interior has been clad in red and black leather.
Those behind the build didn’t stop with the aesthetic modifications; they also slotted in a Chevrolet LS3 V8 under the hood, reportedly pumping out 500 hp.
The car had been listed for sale through James Edition with an asking price of $175,000, but at the time of writing, the listing had been removed, either because the Gladiator was sold or the seller decided to try selling it elsewhere. |
