Special Edition Models
Jeep is celebrating its 80th birthday with the introduction of new special edition models of its entire lineup, namely the Renegade, Compass, Cherokee, Grand Cherokee, Gladiator and Wrangler.
Featuring revised looks inside and out and bespoke ’80th Anniversary’ badging, they will arrive at dealers in the fourth quarter of the year.
“After nearly 80 years, the Jeep brand remains true to the original SUV by continuing to deliver legendary 4×4 capability that has enabled countless adventures and open-air freedom,” said Jim Morrison, Head of Jeep Brand – FCA North America. “As we celebrate our 80th anniversary, we’re pleased to provide our customers with 80th Anniversary models that offer a unique appearance, great value and loads of safety and technology features.”
Priced from $27,595 for the 4×4 model, excluding the $1,495 destination charge, the Renegade 80th Anniversary is available in Bikini, Black, Alpine White, Granite Crystal, Colorado Red, Omaha Orange, Jetset Blue and Slate Blue. It rides on 19-inch wheels in Granite Crystal, boasts anodized gun metal interior accents, a black headliner and berber floor mats. It also packs an 8.4-inch infotainment system and dual-zone climate control.
The special edition Compass has an MSRP of $29,695 and can be ordered in Velvet Red, Diamond Black, Olive Green, Jazz Blue, Granite Crystal, Laser Blue, Redline and White, and sports 19-inch wheels. The equipment list includes the 8.4-inch Uconnect system, leather seats with Light Tungsten stitching, auto-dimming rearview mirror, remote start, piano black and anodized gun metal trim, a black headliner and berber floor mats.
The special Cherokeestarts at $33,805 and is available in Diamond Black, Bright White, Velvet Red, Light Brownstone, Spitfire Orange, Olive Green, Slate Blue, Hydro Blue and Granite Crystal. It too features 19-inch wheels, gun metal trim, a black headliner and special floor mats, as well as the 8.4-inch infotainment, remote start and dual-pane panoramic sunroof, among others.
The Grand Cherokee 80th Anniversary will set you back $44,335 and comes in Sangria, Velvet Red, Diamond Black, Walnut Brown, Bright White and Granite Crystal, with 20-inch wheels, 8.4-inch touchscreen display, leather seats and the ProTech II safety package.
Jeep’s pickup truck will launch from $41,740 in Snazzberry, Granite Crystal, Bright White, Firecracker Red, Hydro Blue, Black and Sarge, with 18-inch wheels and neutral grey metallic grille bezels, headlamp rings and fog lamp surrounds, and body-colored fenders. The special floor mats, accent stitching and 8.4-inch infotainment system are also included, and the Gladiator 80th Anniversary features black diamond embossed cloth seats with the ‘80th Anniversary’ tag.
With an MSRP of $35,990 for the two-door and $39,490 for the four-door models, the Wrangler is offered in Sting Gray, Firecracker Red, Hella Yella, Black, Bright White, Granite Crystal, Sarge and Snazzberry, with 18-inch wheels and the same exterior and interior accents as its pickup truck sibling.
