Performance Upgrades Is So Sick
Hennessey Performance is not the only shop you can call if you decide you can’t have your Jeep Gladiator with anything else than a Hellcat engine.
Many custom shops around the country perform the engine swap for the right amount of cash and TR3 Performance is one of them. The Florida-based company specializes in modifying exotic cars but it couldn’t turn down a customer’s request to give the Gladiator a Hellcat transplant.
The pickup truck came to the shop straight from the dealership and the crew set out to do more than just to swap the standard 285 HP 3.6-liter V6 for the 707 HP 6.2-liter supercharged V8 we all know as the Hellcat.
As the photos prove, the Jeep Gladiator underwent a massive transformation that turned it into a performance off-road truck ready for anything, anytime and anywhere. The list of parts used to give the Gladiator a boost of confidence and capability is really long, so we imagine a lot of dough went into this build.
On the outside, the Hellcat Gladiator sports a new front bumper as well as new fenders, inner fenders, locking hood downs and rear rack — all from DV8. The front bumper comes with an extension fitted with Rigid D-Series Pro Spot Lights, with the roof-mounted 50-inch LED Spot/Flood Light Bars coming from the same supplier.
The rear bumper is a Road Armor Stealth model with a built-in winch. New accessories fitted to the truck also include four Monster hooks, Rough Country tire carrier in the bed, and N-Fab Nerf step system.
On the topic of performance, the aftermarket specialist fitted a 2.5-inch Fox Shocks Rubicon Express lift kit, which freed up space for 17-inch XD Wheels shod with 35-inch Mickey Thompson Baja MTZP3 off-road tires.
As for the Hellcat engine, TR3 Performance decided a Magnaflow exhaust and fuel system upgrade from Fore Innovations were enough and we applaud them (and the owner) for that.
