Side With Night Eagle Editions
Jeep has just introduced the Grand Cherokee Cherokee Night Eagle editions in the Australian market.
The car manufacturer has used the ‘Night Eagle’ name to denote other special edition models in the past as well. A handful of unique parts distinguish the duo from other versions currently on sale.
The Grand Cherokee Night Eagle is based on the Laredo 4×4, to which it adds 20-inch split 5-spoke black alloys, a black front grille, body color front and rear fascias, tinted privacy glass, black roof moldings, and black Jeep badging. In the cabin, there are new features such as Capri black leather upholstery across the seats and a single-pane sunroof.
As for the Cherokee Night Eagle, it is based on the Longitude grade and comes complete with exclusive 18-inch black alloy wheels, a black front grille and black front fascia. Other distinct exterior touches include black roof rails and badging, while interior touches include Piano Black across a steering wheel bezel, A/C bezels, and door trims.
Jeep says the Grand Cherokee Night Eagle adds over $10,400 worth of extras and is available for just $5,500 more than a regular Laredo 4×4, bringing the total price up to $58,450 ($40,737) plus on-road costs. By comparison, the Cherokee Night Eagle includes $6,400 in equipment for $3,200 more than lesser models, starting at $45,150 ($31,468) plus on-road costs. Customers can purchase the Grand Cherokee Night Eagle with either a 3.6-liter Pentastar six-cylinder petrol or a 3.0-liter diesel.
