Forgiato Rollers
Wheels are supposed to be silver. Maybe black, if you're going for the murdered-out look. But white? Isn't that reserved for rally cars?
Not according to Forgiato, they're not. The wheel manufacturer is showcasing a set of its FV1 modular alloys decked out in white to match the paint on this Dodge Challenger.
Not just any Dodge Challenger, either – this is a (narrow-body) Hellcat, the 707-horsepower supercharged V8 muscle car that was top dog around Auburn Hills until the Demon came around. And we have to say that it looks pretty cool in the Storm Trooper look.
It's not all about cosmetics, though: While the front wheels measure the same 20 inches in diameter as stock, the deep-dish rear rollers (upon close inspection of the photos) look like 21-inchers – with a nice fat 325-millimeter cross section and 30-profile sidewalls on the Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires.
That's over a foot wide at the back, compared to the 275/40ZR20 tires (measuring 10.8 inches wide) that come stock from the factory... and even wider than the Demon's 315-mm rollers. All the better, we say, for getting all 650 lb-ft of torque down to the tarmac.
